∙ How We Started ∙
Yah’s Manna™ started with the passion of wanting to teach the stories of the Bible to our children. As parents to 4 little ones, the responsibility weighed heavy on us not only to be the best parents we could be but to do the most important job and that was to train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it as mentioned in Proverbs 22:6.
It was always a question I had...How can I teach my children about the Bible? How can I make the Bible fun to learn? More importantly, how can I teach my children about Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control? Often times, we looked for different fun ways to explain the Bible and its beautiful stories and thought how cool would it be to teach our kids the Bible with flatware since its something kids use daily! A light bulb went off; what about using their tableware and placemats to tell the bible stories?
So, we set out on a mission to find an artist and manufacturing company that could make our vision come to life. We wanted the drawings on our products to truly exemplify the people in the Bible and to depict the story in full accuracy for all to learn. We chose 10 different Bible stories that showcased the fruits of the spirit as mentioned in Galatians 5:22-23: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control. So, here you have it! 10 complete Bible stories using a 6-piece tableware set that comes with a food-grade silicone placemat that your child can color on using a dry-erase marker. This set will engage, teach, guide and help your child understand the Bible.
Lets talk about what's in our product! Our products are made from Bamboo, are BPA free, eco-friendly, biodegradable and my favorite, food-grade silicone and food-grade coloring ink. For this reason, its best to hand wash your sets only.
